Clean Sweep!

Today I embarked on one of the most therapeutic and highly soothing actions a human being can participate in. I decided to clean my apartment unit. I apologize for slight indulgence in sarcasm. However, as I began cleaning a superfluity of thoughts crashed through my brain like a wrecking ball forcing its will on an old abandoned building.

What areas of my life are in a dire need of a spring cleaning? Are there any influences that need to be swept, mopped or vacuumed away? If I took a second to closely examine myself would I see clean towels or filthy rags?

“Become addicted to constant and never-ending self-improvement.” – Anthony J. D’Angelo

No one drinks from the diamond encrusted chalice filled with liquid perfection. We all have various characteristics and areas in our lives that could use some improving. Take a few moments to highlights the areas that you sincerely desire to improve and do what is needed to make forward progress. In life we constantly face the need to improve our lives via skills, education, job title, living conditions, who we are as a person, etc. We can always improve in some way, shape or form.

Treat each day as a new opportunity to become an upgraded version of the person you was yesterday!

  1. I am currently in a season of HEAVY and THOROUGH spring cleaning in my life. Honestly, it hurts to get rid of some if the things God commands me to. Ultimately I know it is for my good and more importantly the good of His Kingdom!

    • Great thought my friend and thank you for sharing. God knows what’s best and we have to be obedient to receive all that he has for us. I too have areas in my life that can use a nice spring cleaning. We all do.
